Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

BarkX is a decentralized, community-operated ecosystem with no company or legal entity behind it. There is no central data controller that collects and stores your personal data. The design goal is that the Services hold as little information about you as technically possible.

2. The website (barkx.xyz)

The website is a static site. It has no user accounts, no login, no contact forms hosted by us, and sets no cookies. It does not run analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.

One technical exception exists:

• Hosting. Like any website, the servers and networks that deliver the site may temporarily process your IP address and request metadata in order to deliver the page.

Web fonts are served from this website itself; loading a page sends no request to a third-party font service.

Partnership inquiries are made by email. If you write to us, your message and the details you include (such as your name, company, and contact details) are received by BarkX contributors and used only to reply to your inquiry.

3. BarkX Chat and BarkX Assistant

Conversations are not stored on any BarkX server and are not retained after your session. Messages are processed in real time only for the purpose of generating a response.

To generate responses, the applications send your messages to third-party AI model providers. Those providers process the content under their own privacy policies and may apply their own retention rules. Do not include passwords, private keys, seed phrases, or other secrets in a conversation.

BarkX Assistant runs its core functions on your own device. Data that stays on the device is under your control and is not transmitted unless you connect to network services.

When you connect a wallet, the applications read your public wallet address and public on-chain data in order to display balances and prepare transactions. They never receive your private key.

4. On-chain data

Any transaction you sign — including staking VN, providing liquidity, or receiving BARKX — is recorded on Arbitrum One and other public blockchains. This data is public, permanent, and cannot be edited or deleted by BarkX or anyone else. Your wallet address may be linkable to you by third parties.

5. Third-party services you may choose to use

• Discord. Community discussion takes place on Discord, which collects data under its own policy.
• Documentation. Guides and documentation are hosted on GitBook.
• Wallets and blockchain networks. Your wallet software and the networks it connects to have their own data practices.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers.

6. What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not track you across sites. We do not require your name, email address, phone number, or government identification to use the Services.

7. Security

The Services use end-to-end encryption and local processing where the design allows. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for securing your own devices, wallets, and keys.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly process data from minors.

9. International use

The Services are accessible worldwide. Third-party providers named in this policy may process data in countries other than your own.

10. Your rights

Because BarkX does not maintain a database of personal data, most access, correction, and deletion requests must be directed to the third-party provider that holds the data (for example, Discord). On-chain data cannot be deleted by anyone. If you have a question about information you believe a BarkX contributor holds, contact us using the details below.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted at this address with a new "last updated" date.
